You don’t have to walk long before you have good view, to the fjord and mountain.

The mountain on the photo is “Telnestinden” which is 960 m high, and the fjord “Melfjorden” is 400 m deep.  

Nordfjorden

In Nordfjorden you`ll find Svartisen National park, whit Norway`s second largest glacier, "Svartisen".  
Nordfjorden it`s a narrow fjord surrounded by mountains  (800 to 1300 m)
Svartisen is is seen about 800 m over the sea.
There is also a seal family living here.

Rødøy community.

In Rødøy community ther is over 2500 island, holms and rocks.

The island on the photo is “Rødøyla,” whith the peak "Rødøyløva" which means "The lion of the red island"
